kaya kalpa

I am an avid yoga practitioner for the last few months. Vaazhga valamudan is my constant mantra. They have a chennai centre in Thiruvanmiyur and the location is very peaceful. What attracted me was the pure Tamil that they speak. It has been quite some time that i have come across everybody in an outfit speak pure tamil. And it is music to my ears. Mother tongue is what it is, so close to out hearts; tugs at us and draws us near.
So, i go there often and am slowly walking the yoga ourney. They always speak highly of a half a day programme called, kaya kalpa, which is actually a simplified kundalini yoga. I was hesitant and a little wary. But I allowed myself to be persuaded and attended the programme a few months back. It is simple. As all things which are great, practising it calls for a few minutes a day of your time and not much physical effort either.
But then did not practise it then, but i persuaded myself to go for a repeat of a programme two weeks back and now i am practising it regularly.
Prashant and kumar went through a full course in Mumbai, from a unit called 'kaivalyadama'. Their asanas are quite different from the 'vaazhga valamudan ' routine. But then they seem to give the same benefits. It is like different vehicles and routes to reach the same place. The yogis seem to have got the ultimate goal right, have found innumerable ways to reach it. But then once you follow one way, it is better to stick to that. Cant keep changing the path midway, right?

Oh i am pleased

I have been away from work for quite some time now. Yes, you are right; utilised this time to snoop around and sorted out innumerable paper work. So, it has been that i line up some small work to be attempted everyday. It is small enough so that it does not hassle me, but it is an item on my 'to do' list, so i feel i am doing LOTS of work.
I had to go to a bank today to get some info about opening joint dmat account; the hassles involved when one of the joint holders is not in Chennai. The lady executive was very efficient, told me all that is required to be done, in two minutes flat; got up and flushed out the necessary forms and quickly 'crossed' the places where we need to sign and also got some clarifications from me and gave me handsome advice! It has been a while since i dealt with such efficient and knowledgeable person in a service delivery function.I have been postponing this simple job for over a year now.So you can imagine how impressed I was that a complete and satisfactory solution has been given to me!
Let her tribe thrive.
I am also pleased when the tender cocoanut vendor, keeps the cocoanuts ready, the minute he spots us at a distance and also gives us credit, when we forget to take cash with us.I like it when we step into the fruit shop and the counter attendant asks us, carrot juice thane?Makes me feel a person, not a nameless number on their computer screen.
